Seattle trip: Hot Mulligan

The last show of the 2023 season! Oh my heart! I will be writing about this show eventually.

I knew it was going to be just an over & back trip so I didn’t really dress up.

The show was at Showbox Sodo, so of course I hit up Silver Platters, but I also found out about Ghostfish Brewing which is a dedicated gluten-free brewery & kitchen & when I say I cried.

These were so unbelievably good. I’d not had onion rings since before my celiac diagnosis.

The second one is La Vida Loca & it’s a coffee/beer brew & holy shit it’s good. It was also a limited time thing so I bought some to take home with me & ended up spending way more than I expected but I don’t’ regret it. The third one there was the first dark beer I’d had since diagnosis as someone who was a Guinness drinker prior.

I had a Shilling at the show though.

There were so many opening bands & even though I liked a couple of them, I knew the ride back was going to be difficult after hours of drinking & music so I was so ready for Hot Mully & they were great.

I spent most of the show at the back of the bar which is why my photos suck (that & my camera sucks) but I got down in the pit at the end & had a great time.
