I will be writing a full review of the concert via my column at Sage Cigarettes.

I ended up going to Spokane to catch this tour because the weather is unreliable & I wanted to avoid the Cascade passes but I hate HATE HATE the drive to Spokane. It’s miserable.

I’m also not a fan of the area where all the venues are located in downtown Spokane. People say Seattle & Portland are dangerous but Spokane after dark is a lot worse in my experience. I understand that any city can get rough & mostly deal but there’s nothing aside from the venue to really make up for the hassle — no record stores in the area, the only bookstore had a locked bathroom, no celiac-friendly eateries/bars, & the mall was bougie af.

I did get a shot of my outfit in the mall mirror though because I decided to just go straight over & back without anything else to hang for.

In the future, I’ll probably pay more, chance the pass, & just go to Seattle.

I got to see my favorite bassist of all time though, so no big deal.
